My wife and I worked with Sebastian and he did a great job helping us with our purchase. He was very honest and direct about the pluses and minuses of the vehicle we looked at, actively engaged with both of us equally, and didn't try to jerk us around. Unlike many salespeople you meet at dealers these days, Sebastian clearly had a lot of knowledge and expertise even with brands other than BMW and he was very patient and understanding when we wanted to do our own detailed inspection of the vehicle. The purchase process itself was about as smooth and painless as can be expected. Got the normal extended warranty and lojack sales pitch from the finance office, but he wasn't pushy and took "no" as an answer which was refreshing. The only caveat I'll give there is that if you don't want Lojack, they won't make you pay for it but you might have to remove the unit yourself (which isn't hard). Overall, an excellent experience. They were prepared for our arrival and were very accommodating throughout. If every dealer worked like this, I wouldn't have such an aversion to them.

BUYER BEWARE: I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned BMW and paid $7,234.85 to repair undisclosed impact damage. BMW of Schererville has refused to discuss this with me. Before conducting business with this Dealership, please consider my experience. Apologies for the long read. I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned BMW remotely, along with an extended warranty. I never saw the vehicle in person until it arrived at my home. I relied on the dealership’s representations and certification when deciding to buy. Before purchasing, I noticed headlight condensation in a listing photo and specifically requested diagnosis and repair. The salesperson suggested temperature changes as the explanation. I trusted that representation. After delivery, the condensation returned with every car wash and rain—the same concern I had raised before the sale. Approximately three months later, a Master Technician at another BMW service center identified that both the front and rear bumpers had been repainted and misaligned rear body panels—subtle signs of prior impact that I had not recognized as a consumer. Further inspection documented hidden impact damage to that same headlight and a rear sensor bracket. BMW of Schererville had not disclosed any of these conditions. I unequivocally attest that no collisions or impacts occurred during my ownership. The underlying damage required further inspection, but the exterior clues were visible to a trained BMW technician. As a buyer relying on BMW of Schererville’s certification, I expected its trained staff to recognize those signs and disclose them before the sale. Neeley was more than willing to speak with me multiple times when selling me the extended warranty. But when I needed help after the sale, that availability disappeared. I provided documentation of my concerns at her request, then received no reply despite multiple follow-up attempts including involvement of BMW North America who requested that the General Manager contact me. The dealership has the evidence and has been given an opportunity to resolve this, yet I cannot get a response. The damage is documented. The expense is real. My requests for answers have gone unanswered. This experience has left me with multiple questions you may want to consider: If another BMW technician readily recognized these signs of prior impact, what did BMW of Schererville’s certification inspection identify? Why won’t the dealership discuss the evidence and explain its inspection? Before trusting this dealership and its CPO assurances, ask yourself: If a serious problem surfaces after the sale, will they stand behind the vehicle or will they leave you with the bill and unanswered requests for help? For me, it's been the latter.

Outstanding Experience at BMW of Schererville! I recently found a vehicle online at BMW of Schererville that I really liked, so I called for more information. I spoke with Jeremy, and right away I could tell this dealership was different. He was extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and never once used the typical pushy, aggressive sales approach. I asked Jeremy for more pictures of the vehicle, and there was a small misunderstanding because he sent me pictures of the bumper and one of the doors. It wasn’t until I looked closely that I realized he was actually showing me the imperfections! There was a tiny rock chip that I could barely even see. I was genuinely impressed that he took the time to point out things that most salespeople might have tried to overlook. That experience gave me enough confidence to make the over-an-hour drive to BMW of Schererville to see the vehicle in person. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted and acknowledged. I was told Jeremy was finishing up with another customer and would be with me shortly. Within a couple of minutes, Shoejot came over, introduced himself, and made sure I didn’t have to sit around waiting. He had Hector come out with the keys so I could look over the vehicle and take it for a test drive while Jeremy finished up. Hector was fantastic. He walked me through the vehicle, answered my questions, explained its features, and made the whole process comfortable and easy. After the test drive, I asked if they had a soda machine. Hector went looking and found some Sprite, put them in the refrigerator, and later came back with a cold one for me. It’s a small gesture, but those are the kinds of things that really stood out to me. When Jeremy was available, he was just as friendly and professional in person as he had been over the phone. Since I was trading in two vehicles, he took the time to go through all of my options with me. Shoejot, who I learned is the General Manager, also sat down with me and simply asked what it would take to make a deal happen. I asked for the best deal I could get, and instead of getting defensive or pushy, he went over the numbers, compared the vehicle with other listings, and explained everything in a way that made complete sense. At no point did I feel like I was just another customer. I genuinely felt like they were looking out for me and wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the purchase. I then met Justin in finance, who was equally impressive. He worked hard to get me the best rate possible, went through all the paperwork thoroughly, and explained everything clearly. Even though it was already around 8:30 PM—well past their 6 PM closing time—he remained professional, patient, and friendly. By the time everything was finished, it was around 9:30 PM. Jeremy walked me out to my new vehicle, and the employees who were still there congratulated me before I left. That really says everything about this dealership. From Jeremy, Shoejot, Hector, and Justin to everyone else who stayed late to make sure I was taken care of, the entire team went above and beyond. I never felt pressured, rushed, or treated like just another sale. I felt genuinely valued as a customer. I left BMW of Schererville feeling like I had just left a family gathering—excited about my new car and honestly impressed by the people who helped me get it. BMW of Schererville completely changed my outlook on buying a car. I highly, highly recommend this dealership. If I need another vehicle in the future, they will absolutely be my first stop. Like Starsky and Hutch, Joey and Chandler, Wayne and Garth, or Frodo and Sam, Jeremy and Justin were an incredible team and made the drive from Chicago 110% worth it. I’ve bought a few cars over the years, but until now I would have never described the process as ‘fun’. Both were incredibly kind to my family (including my mother in law) and were great with our 14 month old son. We recently purchased a preowned vehicle with an extended warranty here. We had some mechanical issues with the car a few months later and BMW was extremely helpful- especially Joe their service manager. Their customer service and service team is the best- I highly recommend buying a car and/or getting service at BMW Schererville.

Dan, the parts manager is TOP NOTCH!! He was friendly, super knowledgeable and probably one of the most helpful parts people I’ve ever dealt with! He truly cared and wanted to help me figure out a solution when trying to find some odd ball parts. Dan, the parts manager is TOP NOTCH!! He was friendly, super knowledgeable and probably one of the most helpful parts people I’ve ever dealt with! He truly cared and wanted to help me figure out a solution when trying to find some odd ball parts. It wasn’t about just selling me something, he took the time to build a business relationship with me as well. As being a young female, he treated me with respect and treated me like any other customer. I wish there could be a Dan in every parts department!!! Thank you for your help and I can’t tell BMW enough, you have a great parts manager and he is truly an asset to your business!

My wife and I had a fabulous buying experience at BMW of Schererville. Chris, Justin and Nick made it great with clear communication, friendliness and professionalism. Chris demonstrated our new vehicle and answered any question we threw at him. Justin helped finalize our deal and accommodated a special request. Yes, you end up signing a stack of paper to confirm you just signed a previous stack of paper, etc., but Nick sped through the process and didn't make us spend yet another hour upselling us on a couple dozen dealership add-ons.

My wife and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Sebastian in Sales was very good to work with on a pre-owned Lincoln. We also appreciate Nick in Finance for completing out of state processing for Michigan. Even though pre-owned, leading dealerships typically offer a thorough inspection and make necessary minor repairs, some very extensive and documented. Our vehicle is due for oil service within 300 miles, this should have been done. I am not aware of what is or passed a service department inspection. Thank you Sebastian and Nick.

The Best!!

I completely understand that small issues can happen anywhere what really matters is how they handle them. Gina, manager Natty, and another manager whose name I unfortunately forgot took such great care of me and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. I’m truly grateful to them. BMW is very lucky to have people like this if you go there, make sure you work with these kind, dedicated individuals.

I have purchased two BMWs from BMW-Schererville. I've also received service as well (e.g., oil change, windshield wiper replacement, front brakes, etc--no major repairs as of yet thank Goodness). I've noticed an improvement in the service department experience over the last year. My last two visits, I've been assigned Joseph Giuliano as my service advisor. Joe is AMAZING and truly seems to understand the customer service experience, beginning to end. THANKS JOE! Would have given BMW-Schererville 5-stars, but the wait times tend to run long, but I do understand I have options where I wouldnt have to wait in store (e.g., pick-up service) and that the techs take their time on repairs which may impact wait times.

Purchased an I4 yesterday with Antonio and from beginning to end one of the easiest and inviting vehicle purchases, I have ever had, he was responsive, helpful, and professional , when I arrived my vehicle was ready to go and thanks to all the leg work he did ahead of time I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Definitely would recommend working with Antonio and the dealership in general , great place !

Had to replace car that died on very short notice. Online search showed they had what I was looking for. They actually answered my email on Sunday, and gave me the needed information. Drive two hours to the dealership on Monday, and was taken care of by Jeremy. Excellent demeanor, very knowledgeable. They helped us through the purchase process, even though it meant staying past their normal closing time. We had a great experience at the dealership, and would highly recommend to anyone in Northwest Indiana or Chicago area. Seamless dealership experience!

My experience With Schereville BMW is mixed. My experience with the Sales team was awesome. They made the experience exciting and seamless. However, my purchase came with some service challenges. The service advisor did not communicate with me in a timely manner. He never returned any of my phone calls or responded to any of my emails. I have been a BMW owner for over 27 Years, And I have never had that kind of experience with a service advisor. The purpose of this review is to make the management team more aware of how the service advisors are the gatekeepers, and the ambassador’s for maintaining relationships with BMW customers.

I had great two experiences with Antonio at BMW of Schererville. A few months ago, I was deciding what type of vehicle I wanted and brought my teenage son to sit in the backseat of my SUV of choice to see if there was enough legroom (lol). Antonio was helpful, patient, and non-pressuring. He had my trade-in appraised, making a great offer, and when I decided not to get the particular vehicle they had on site, he did not try to talk me into it or sell me something else or keep me at the dealership for hours. Fast forward to today, and a newer model of my choice vehicle was available at this dealership. I texted Antonio to set up an appointment. He thanked me for coming back and said he remembered when my son and I were there a few months ago. Long story only a little bit shorter (lol), both Antonio and Nick (in the finance department) worked with us to get us a great deal on both our trade-in and my vehicle of choice. When we were going to finance with our own bank, which offers an APR that is nearly impossible to beat, Nick called their bank and pulled a couple of strings to get us a comparable deal so we could drive the car off of the lot today and feel great about it! Between these two visits, I went to a different dealership in Merrillville, and it was nothing but a hassle. Low-ball offer on my trade-in, going back and forth on it to keep me there for hours…. BMW of Schererville is a breath of fresh air! Go see Antonio and Nick, and you will not be disappointed!

Upon meeting Jeremy I felt no pressure and he was friendly. I felt I have known him for a long time. He was very informative . And don’t even get me started when I say Jeremy is THE MAN! He is amazing at what he does and is super personable and gets you into the perfect vehicle! Great service

I had a great experience with Antonio! He gave us the best deal in the market and was very patient with answering all my questions across weeks. To make the process seamless on the day of the pickup, he worked overtime the previous night to get all our paperwork signed off. Definitely recommend him and BMW of Schererville to everyone.
