Liars. Con-Artists. Fraudsters. Stay far away. Fraudulently have not returned a $2000 deposit and sold a vehicle that was unsafe to drive and then committed more fraud. Initiated a chargeback with the credit card company for the fraud they committed. Then contacted Santander Consumer Finance USA to open a fraud investigation with the bank. Considering suing on small claims for their damage to credit score and contacted Indiana state attorney generals office. Update 10/30: more lies, committed perjury to the bank when stating vehicle was repaired after stating in writing that vehicle was not repairable.

The dealership, and especially Sebastian Stankiewicz, and Justin Stasni, did a great job for us. Very courteous and professional, and they worked a great price for us, including a maintenance agreement.

Stephanie at the BMW dealership made buying a new car easy . Would use her again. The other personnel at the dealership were also very nice and easy to work with including Nick in finance.

I don't have any amazing experiences here. They over condescending, think they know what they're talking about and offer nothing. The ton, the lack of wanting to sell. Folks go to ANY BMW dealership in Chicago (Orland, Perillo downtown or Bill Jacobs) and even on their worse day they are still better than these slums. Don't get me on the test drive they are just non hospitable . And I refuse to spend my cash where they barely like me or my skin.

If she wouldn’t have researched and asked then the vehicle might have had issues. The service department states they completed what was asked and the things are not done. The Carfax does not show whether the fluids were changed in three parts of the vehicle. It also does not show if the spark plugs were ever changed which should’ve been changed at 50,000 miles. Service manager Dean was fantastic!

We recently bought a car from Steffanie Lowcyzk at Schererville BMW. It was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. We had to drive 2.5 hours to get there but it was worth it. She was an absolute professional in our negations. I would boy another car from her tomorrow and recommend anyone in the Michigan, Illinois, or Indiana area go see her and the rest of the team.

Would give 10 stars if possible. Steffanie made everything seamless, impossibly easy and enjoyable. 10/10 will be recommending her to our family and friends and will look to her next time we’re in the car buying market.

I had an outstanding experience working with Service Advisor Alexis McAdams on a recent service visit. From start to finish, her communication, professionalism, and follow-through were top-tier. She took care of all necessary repairs seamlessly, kept me fully updated, and made the whole process completely stress-free. It’s rare to find a service advisor who genuinely advocates for the customer and handles every detail with this level of precision.

Great dealer to work with. I normally despise dealerships with the up-sells and the whole dance you have to do to get a decent price. I've walked away from many cars I liked because of hucksterism from the dealer, but none of that happened here. My wife and I worked with Sebastian and he did a great job helping us with our purchase. He was very honest and direct about the pluses and minuses of the vehicle we looked at, actively engaged with both of us equally, and didn't try to jerk us around. Unlike many salespeople you meet at dealers these days, Sebastian clearly had a lot of knowledge and expertise even with brands other than BMW and he was very patient and understanding when we wanted to do our own detailed inspection of the vehicle. The purchase process itself was about as smooth and painless as can be expected. Got the normal extended warranty and lojack sales pitch from the finance office, but he wasn't pushy and took "no" as an answer which was refreshing. The only caveat I'll give there is that if you don't want Lojack, they won't make you pay for it but you might have to remove the unit yourself (which isn't hard). Overall, an excellent experience. They were prepared for our arrival and were very accommodating throughout. If every dealer worked like this, I wouldn't have such an aversion to them.

I have dealt with a wonderful group that provided me with an exceptional service. Shane, Mateen, Shujaat, you guys and your manager Neely are great and you really make up my day.

After I filed a formal complaint with the Indiana Secretary of State’s Auto Dealer Services Division, its lead attorney advised me that the dealership was willing to offer a settlement and recommended contacting General Sales Manager Shujaat S. I contacted him September 24 to review the offer. He was initially responsive, but I have received no further communication since October 9. Apologies for the long read below, but if you are considering buying from this dealership, especially a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, I believe this experience is worth your time. BUYER BEWARE: I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned BMW from BMW of Schererville and later paid $7,234.85 to repair impact damage that had not been disclosed to me before the sale. I purchased the vehicle remotely, along with an extended warranty, relying on the dealership’s representations and CPO certification. I did not see it in person until it arrived at my home. Before purchasing, I noticed headlight condensation in a listing photo and specifically requested diagnosis and repair. The salesperson suggested temperature changes as the explanation. I trusted that representation. After delivery, the condensation was immediately evident with every car wash and rain. Approximately three months after purchasing, I took the vehicle to another BMW service center for the recurring headlight condensation and a rear sensor malfunction. Their Master Technician immediately identified that the front bumper had been repainted and noted subtle misalignment of the rear body panels, which he shared as signs of prior front and rear impact. These subtle exterior clues were not apparent to me as an untrained consumer. Further inspection revealed concealed impact damage to the same headlight I had questioned before purchasing and concealed impact damage to the rear sensor bracket. The damage itself was not readily visible from the vehicle’s exterior. This prior impact history had not been disclosed to me or reported on the CARFAX. No collisions or impacts have occurred during my ownership. This fact, the pre-sale condensation I had noted, and the technician’s findings strongly support that the damage predated the sale. I initially called Neeley S. who had been consistently responsive when selling me the extended warranty. She requested the details in writing, which I provided on July 28, 2026. Despite repeated follow-ups, she has consistently been non-responsive. I also contacted BMW North America, which asked the General Manager to contact me; those initial requests went completely unanswered. This experience has left me with questions you may want to consider: If another BMW technician immediately noticed a repainted front bumper and misaligned rear body panels, what did BMW of Schererville’s CPO inspection identify in those same areas, and what further inspection was performed? When a buyer raises a concern before purchasing, what should they expect the dealership to do to investigate and address it before completing the sale? If you purchase remotely and rely on this dealership’s certification, what support can you expect if another BMW service center documents an issue after delivery? Most importantly: Will the dealership provide a clear explanation and work toward a resolution, or will you be left with the bill and unanswered questions? My experience is why I encourage other buyers to ask these questions before purchasing.

Before conducting business with this Dealership, please consider my experience. Apologies for the long read. I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned BMW remotely, along with an extended warranty. I never saw the vehicle in person until it arrived at my home. I relied on the dealership’s representations and certification when deciding to buy. Before purchasing, I noticed headlight condensation in a listing photo and specifically requested diagnosis and repair. The salesperson suggested temperature changes as the explanation. I trusted that representation. After delivery, the condensation returned with every car wash and rain—the same concern I had raised before the sale. Approximately three months later, a Master Technician at another BMW service center identified that both the front and rear bumpers had been repainted and misaligned rear body panels—subtle signs of prior impact that I had not recognized as a consumer. Further inspection documented hidden impact damage to that same headlight and a rear sensor bracket. BMW of Schererville had not disclosed any of these conditions. I unequivocally attest that no collisions or impacts occurred during my ownership. The underlying damage required further inspection, but the exterior clues were visible to a trained BMW technician. As a buyer relying on BMW of Schererville’s certification, I expected its trained staff to recognize those signs and disclose them before the sale. Neeley was more than willing to speak with me multiple times when selling me the extended warranty. But when I needed help after the sale, that availability disappeared. I provided documentation of my concerns at her request, then received no reply despite multiple follow-up attempts including involvement of BMW North America who requested that the General Manager contact me. The dealership has the evidence and has been given an opportunity to resolve this, yet I cannot get a response. The damage is documented. The expense is real. My requests for answers have gone unanswered. This experience has left me with multiple questions you may want to consider: If another BMW technician readily recognized these signs of prior impact, what did BMW of Schererville’s certification inspection identify? Why won’t the dealership discuss the evidence and explain its inspection? Before trusting this dealership and its CPO assurances, ask yourself: If a serious problem surfaces after the sale, will they stand behind the vehicle or will they leave you with the bill and unanswered requests for help? For me, it's been the latter.

Typically, I loathe the process of purchasing a vehicle due to the "games" played, but this time was different. What worked? Had a horrible experience — they had me apply for financing but sold the car out from under me. They told me the car was mine and I’d even scheduled an inspection… I had the misfortune of working primarily with Nick & Mateen. I felt that the dealership acted completely contrary to its published mission.

I spoke with Jeremy, and right away I could tell this dealership was different. It wasn’t until I looked closely that I realized he was actually showing me the imperfections! There was a tiny rock chip that I could barely even see. I was genuinely impressed that he took the time to point out things that most salespeople might have tried to overlook. That experience gave me enough confidence to make the over-an-hour drive to BMW of Schererville to see the vehicle in person. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted and acknowledged. I was told Jeremy was finishing up with another customer and would be with me shortly. Within a couple of minutes, Shoejot came over, introduced himself, and made sure I didn’t have to sit around waiting. He had Hector come out with the keys so I could look over the vehicle and take it for a test drive while Jeremy finished up. Hector was fantastic. He walked me through the vehicle, answered my questions, explained its features, and made the whole process comfortable and easy. After the test drive, I asked if they had a soda machine. Hector went looking and found some Sprite, put them in the refrigerator, and later came back with a cold one for me. It’s a small gesture, but those are the kinds of things that really stood out to me. When Jeremy was available, he was just as friendly and professional in person as he had been over the phone. Since I was trading in two vehicles, he took the time to go through all of my options with me. Shoejot, who I learned is the General Manager, also sat down with me and simply asked what it would take to make a deal happen. I asked for the best deal I could get, and instead of getting defensive or pushy, he went over the numbers, compared the vehicle with other listings, and explained everything in a way that made complete sense. At no point did I feel like I was just another customer. I genuinely felt like they were looking out for me and wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the purchase. I then met Justin in finance, who was equally impressive. He worked hard to get me the best rate possible, went through all the paperwork thoroughly, and explained everything clearly. Even though it was already around 8:30 PM—well past their 6 PM closing time—he remained professional, patient, and friendly. By the time everything was finished, it was around 9:30 PM. Jeremy walked me out to my new vehicle, and the employees who were still there congratulated me before I left. That really says everything about this dealership. From Jeremy, Shoejot, Hector, and Justin to everyone else who stayed late to make sure I was taken care of, the entire team went above and beyond. I never felt pressured, rushed, or treated like just another sale. I felt genuinely valued as a customer. I left BMW of Schererville feeling like I had just left a family gathering—excited about my new car and honestly impressed by the people who helped me get it. BMW of Schererville completely changed my outlook on buying a car. I highly, highly recommend this dealership. If I need another vehicle in the future, they will absolutely be my first stop. Like Starsky and Hutch, Joey and Chandler, Wayne and Garth, or Frodo and Sam, Jeremy and Justin were an incredible team and made the drive from Chicago 110% worth it. I’ve bought a few cars over the years, but until now I would have never described the process as ‘fun’. Both were incredibly kind to my family (including my mother in law) and were great with our 14 month old son. I am getting increasingly frustrated with the service department. I have taken my car in 4 times for service for the same issue. The costs are adding up quickly. I have spent 15k+ SO FAR. Have not heard anything. This is very frustrating. I have spent well over 15k dollars for a problem with the coolant tank and hoses. To make things worse, I googled if there are issues with the coolant tank and hoses of my car(2019 M850 49k miles). Turns our BMW issued a bulletin regarding this issue. Requires new coolant tank and hoses but also provides a shield to stop coolant that leaks from going into injectors. Why wasn't this installed the first time I brought the car in? How much additional money have I spent because it was not done right the first time? Just got my car back last week. Vehicle is running OK. Unfortunately the interior was damaged and my tint was damaged. I am so tired of dealing with this place.

I needed the vehicle ready to drive to New York in a couple weeks. I waited for 3 hours. Great car buying and delivery experience with Chris Hardaway and others, then the nightmare began when the car had a small issue. Tremendous issues with communication, broken promises, and return of my car. This dealer is an absolute nightmare when you need what they promised!!!!!! Chris a 5 Star, the rest a 1 Star. Praying for a better experience in the future with this dealership.

I called twice and spoke with two different gentleman, each gave me the same quote on a simple battery replacement. I drove to my appointment and they magically have no record of this and will now be charging over double the amount for labor. It was a recall, in addition to service, so I got a courtesy vehicle. No mats in it at all! Sure would not want to buy a demo car there, as it is winter and everyone gets salt on their feet. I am just not too happy with the car either. Love the electric hybrid aspect, but they had my car for six weeks for the first recall. Now, this is the third recall! Plus, my tires are down to 6 and I am below 30,000 miles! They checked for alignment issues, but okay. Just bad tires I guess.

When we finally brought the vehicle back on Tuesday, October 28th, leaking antifreeze, the accountant directly refused to accept the vehicle for service, despite the issues being a direct result of their paid and failed repairs. ​I have spent over $2,600 and the issue is not only unresolved but has resulted in the vehicle being left in a worse, unsafe condition. I strongly caution others and advise them to file complaints with BMW Corporate Customer Relations regarding the quality of service at this franchise location. Based on our experience owning BMW vehicles, I do NOT recommend purchasing a BMW. Your vehicle will spend more time getting serviced than on the road. Once again thank you for reading my reviews. I will update my review if anything changes.

The shop is very expensive. I try to change my brake pads yesterday and they give me a high quote. And I call back about it and the person told me that the rooters were included in the price. Looks like every time they've change the brakes they change the rooters and she didn't mention that when I got the quote. If I had approved, I wouldn't even have found out about the rooters.

I was referred to Bmw Of Schererville to get my car fixed I was told the technicians here were very good According to my RO, a young man named Daniel worked on my vehicle. My check oil light Came on literally 5 miles after leaving the dealership when I got home, I looked underneath my vehicle and the oil drain plug was completely loose and my car was leaking a bunch of oil I ended up just doing the Service myself I will never go back there if I could give this place zero stars I would They need to find Better technicians because upon doing research, I found out that this guy also totaled a customers BMW m4 on a joy ride why is he still there…

Took my car ito bmw Of Schererville, Indiana because of a message saying drive train malfunction. All I needed was one ignition coil. I purchase five other ignition coil from G & H Imports in Oak Lawn for half the price and yes they were OME. BMW stated spark plugs looked worn, I found that hard to believe…changed them not even two weeks ago 😂 purchased them from the same place G & H Imports OEM half of what BMW asking price. It’s a shame BMW of Schererville have a practice of doing shady business this way. Forgot to mention the $300 for the inspection. Paid $530 out the door for one Ignition coil.

My experience with BMW of Schererville—specifically with Jeremy Koehler—made it easy to walk away and certain I wouldn’t return. The used 2024 BMW X3 I considered had visible rear-end damage in the dealership’s own photos. Service records confirmed prior accident repairs. None of this appeared on the CARFAX. Yet the vehicle was priced above comparable Certified Pre-Owned models. The dealership gave inconsistent explanations about why it wasn’t CPO. Eventually, they acknowledged it could be certified—if I paid more. I was effectively being asked to fund additional repairs they refused to complete (excluding the damaged bumper). They later claimed the vehicle was “in excellent condition,” that my offer was “unrealistic,” and that my concerns were inaccurate—all of which is false. They then petitioned Google to remove my original, honest review rather than take responsibility for their misrepresentations. I bought from a different dealership that was transparent, professional, and fair. The contrast couldn’t have been clearer. If you value honesty and straight answers, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

The sales person, who is apparently experienced and sells a lot of vehicles, couldn’t have seemed less interested in talking to me. He answered basic questions but didn’t offer up much more. Didn’t take my name and contact info, didn’t ask me any questions about my needs, why I was looking, or what else I was looking at. Didn’t offer a test drive. Didn’t offer any kind of follow up or anything else. I hate to speculate why but there’s an old saying in sales that you never know who your next and/or best client might be.Also, I had just come from the Land Rover South Shore dealership beforehand and that was a totally different experience. It was definitely what I expected from a luxury dealership and a truly great experience. Hard to believe these dealerships are owned by the same folks. Side note. My family is also a customer of both dealerships. One acknowledged that while the other didn’t and didn’t even bother to ask…

They keep telling me the squeak on my driver side break is normal because I have ceramic breaks. Doesn’t make any sense. My car is the only one on traffic lights squeaking. And this last time I came in for oil change I asked again for them to look at it. Vince in service didn’t even bring it up when I got the car back. Not happy about that.

I visited the dealership today to look at a brand new 2026 M440i xdrive I had been considering. While my original plan was just to see the car in person, the general sales manager was great to work with and put together a deal that I decided to move forward with. Unfortunately, the deal broke down at the last minute. As my girlfriend and I inspected the vehicle more closely, we found multiple scratches and understandably wanted to take a more thorough look. During that process, some unprofessional comments were made by the salesperson that shifted the tone of the experience. While I understand that situations can get tense, the remark made in front of us felt unnecessary and ultimately made me walk away. Now I’m left with multiple credit checks on file despite not purchasing the car. Still, I’m genuinely glad I walked away and will be placing a special order for the exact vehicle I want. What saddens me the most is that we were already planning to come back soon to look at an X3 for my girlfriend, and we were also looking forward to servicing our vehicles here because everyone was so pleasant and attentive at the start of the process. The experience started off with promise, and I felt like I had finally found my dealer, but unfortunately it didn’t end that way.

Complete disregard for the customer. We drove over an hour to look at a car and it wouldn't even run. The salesperson spewed some lies and we went home. My wife told him I wasn't feeling well before we took off. He just forgot to mention the vehicle wouldn't start

I had an excellent experience on the sales side with Jeremy. He did a good job helping me navigate the purchase of a 2022 X6 from another state. Where the process broke down.... The back office / title division didn't get the right proof of insurance at time of sale. They call me to get another form filled out 45 days after I bought the car. No problem right? Well, now, my temporary tag is expired. So, I have a 4500 lb paper weight for at least 3 more weeks. The dealership is unwilling to email or overnight me an extended tag. While the sales person was great, I didn't get a call or email back from any member of management. Strongly suggest any out of state buyer NOT work with this dealership. While very nice and easy to work with on the sales, their lack of follow-through or understanding on the backend will bite you. Unless you have another car and can not drive your vehicle for several week...

This review is for the service department had my 2024 X5 with a check engine lite for 2 years they had no idea how fix tbis was the 9th time they disnr evwm fill the tank with gas brought it back with less than a quart. Hoping this is the last time if they need to replace the mechanics.

I trust and respect this dealership. From the very first time I called to make an inquiry about my first BMW, they have been attentive, accommodating, respectful, and friendly. Whenever I visit, I feel as if I’m among friends. I like them so much that, in addition to my all-electric iX SUV, I also purchased an all-electric i4 when I was looking for a new sedan. When my leases are up, I plan to replace them with BMWs from this dealership as well.
