Leading the way in luxury, the 2019 BMW X7 continues to amaze since it’s appeared on the market. While many other makes believe they are the best, the X7 is ready to be put to the test at BMW of Schererville. To prove its merit, we’ve put it up against the 2019 Audi Q7.
When choosing a vehicle, you need to count on it to get you from point A to point B without struggle and with ease. Excitement is always a plus, and the BMW X7 takes the cake in terms of performance. With the 3.0L TwinPower Turbo engine, you will experience a thrilling ride the second you hit the accelerator, thanks to the 335 horsepower and 330 lb.-ft. of torque. With the Audi Q7’s standard 2.0L I-4 engine, you will only get 248 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque. In addition to that, you’ll be flying past the Q7 with the BMW model, as the X7 can go from 0 to 60 MPH in just 5.8 seconds1. With the Audi option, you can reach 60 MPH in at least 7.1 seconds. Even with all of that zip under the hood, you will still be saving money on gas with the X7, thanks to the estimated 22 MPG combined2 fuel economy rating. The Audi Q7 can only muster up an estimated 21 MPG combined3 fuel efficiency rating.
As soon as you settle yourself into the 2019 BMW X7, you won’t want to even consider another SUV. Even with that booming power, the smaller components that make up a vehicle still count. Starting off with the front row, you will be at the forefront of comfort and extravagance thanks to the X7’s standard 12-way power front seat. When you find yourself feeling stiff after driving down the Indiana Toll Road in stop-and-go traffic, you won’t want to deal with anything less. And the Q7 is certainly lacking with standard 8-way power-adjustable front seats. While you and your copilot may both be comfortable, they will get the equal amount of cushioning with the X7 as they will also be supplied with lumbar support. The front-row passenger’s chair in the Audi Q7 does not have this feature. In the event you experience a flat tire, you’ll definitely be glad that the X7 is equipped with a spare tire to safely get you to the nearest service bay. The Q7, once again, does not come standard with one.
Of course, if you’re choosing an SUV over another vehicle, it’s likely for the extra space. Luckily, the X7 has plenty of it! Starting off with the front headroom, you will have 41.9 inches of open space for you to position yourself in. In the rear-row, your guests will also have more space in the X7 thanks to the 39.9 inches of headroom. You’ll be much more cramped in the Q7 with its 39.9 inches of front headroom and 38.8 inches of rear headroom. Even when you fold down the rear seats, the X7 still reigns supreme. Its 90.4 cubic ft. of cargo space clearly overshadows the Q7’s 69.6 cubic ft. of storage room.
Between the 2019 BMW X7 vs 2019 Audi Q7 near Valparaiso, IN, it’s clear who the victor is. You can get behind the wheel at BMW of Schererville by scheduling a test drive!
